Private Garden.- ( GAZEBO) It is considered the most private location for your ceremony. Is facing to the ocean and located between CasaMagna and our New Hotel J.W Marriott. Is decorated with natural palm trees around. It could be the Most Private Event.
RECEPTIONS LOCATIONS AT J.W MARRIOTT CANCUN RESORT & SPA:
SEA SIDE GARDEN: Located in front of the Main Pool Area where we can set set up groups until 50 persons for Ceremony. A Gazebo could be placed in this area.
POOL AREA: One of the pool areas is used for setting up a ceremony since it has the perfect looking to the ocean. It will fit for 50-60 persons in this area. The best time to hold your Ceremony could be after 6:00 pm
POOL PRIVATE AREA: This pool is located on the other side of the Hotel is more private for having your Ceremony or Reception and has a perfect looking ocean and pool as well. Is considered for setting up until 50 or 60 people.

Wedding documents needed by JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa hotel:

Clear photocopies of Birth Certificates and tourist cards
Original forms denoting proof of blood test. Required blood tests can be performed in Mexico prior to the ceremony, which eliminates the need to have the documents Apostilled and translated, at a fee of $ 40 USD per person.
Passports or driver's licenses
If applicable, final divorce decrees or death certificate of prior spouse
Names, addresses, ages, nationalities, occupation, relationship, tourist cards and identification of four (4) witnesses. These can be friends traveling with you, or alternatively any of the employees can act as witness for them.
Mexico wedding ceremonies are required to be performed in Spanish, the official language of Mexico. Couples are welcomed to have a translator present to translate the ceremony in other languages.
It is important to note that all official documents including birth certificates and proof of blood test (if done outside of Mexico) need to translated and Apostilled. An Apostil is a sealed document provided by each state registrar (in the U.S.) confirming the authenticity of a legal document. Birth certificates and proof of blood test documents must be apostilled by the state registrar of the state in which these documents were issued.
All documents must be translated by an authorized translator of the Superior Tribunal of Justice of the State of Quintana Roo in Cancun. The official translator requires 48 hours to translate all documents. All documents must be received by the Judges office at least 3 days prior to the wedding date. Therefore, it is important to note that individuals intending to be married in Cancun must be present in Cancun at least 5 weekdays (working days) prior to the date of their wedding ceremony. Fees are required for all services and are subject to change. Currently there is a $ 70 USD translation charge for each pair of Apostils (i.e. one charge for the couple's birth certificates; one charge for the couple's blood tests, etc).
