General Information

Le Blanc Spa Resort offers a variety of wedding packages and reception options that our expert planners will tailor to your wishes. Perhaps a small, private ceremony suits you. Or maybe you want to be surrounded by all your family and friends on the most special day of your life. No matter what you have in mind, your dreams will come true at Le Blanc Spa Resort.

Documents
Documents required for civil office:

   • Home address and occupations (bride & groom)
   • Birth certificates (certified copy of each one)
   • Valid passports
   • Original blood test (to determine blood type, HIV and STD). Tests must be taken at the resort and results are ready within 24 hours. If test is positive, wedding cannot be performed.
   • Certified copy of former spouse's death certificate (if applicable)
   • If divorced, a certified copy of the divorce decree is required. If divorced more than once, please bring each divorce decree. If divorced less than one year, a mandatory pregnancy test must be taken. If test is positive, wedding cannot be performed (if applicable).
   • Certified copy of adoption papers (if applicable).
   • Certified copy of name change document.* All name change documents must be translated to Spanish (if applicable).
   • Tourist ID (provided by customs upon your arrival at Cancun's International Airport).
   • Name, age, nationality, home address, occupation, passport and tourist ID of four (4) witnesses. Witnesses must arrive two (2) working days (Monday-Saturday) prior to the ceremony. If witnesses are not available, Le Blanc Spa Resort will provide them at no additional cost.
   • The Bride & Groom must arrive in Cancun at least three (3) working days (Monday - Saturday) prior to the wedding ceremony to meet with the wedding coordinator and submit all documents. The Bride & Groom must be at the resort by check-in time (3:00 PM) or earlier in order to consider day of arrival as the first day.
   • The Bride & Groom must NOT be legally married in order to qualify for any of our wedding packages. If they are already married, a symbolic ceremony can be performed.
   • Important - If the Bride or Groom's nationality is Mexican, additional documents are required. Please advise your wedding sales coordinator.

   • Home address and occupations (bride & groom)
   • Valid passports
   • The Bride & Groom must arrive in Cancun at least three (3) working days (Monday - Saturday) prior to the wedding ceremony to meet with the wedding planner and submit all documents. The Bride & Groom must arrive to the resort by check-in time (3:00pm) or earlier in order to consider day of arrival towards requirement.

Please note that name change documents MUST be translated into Spanish. All translations MUST be done by our certified translators at the hotel only. (Prices vary depending on the number of pages).

Ceremony can not be performed unless all documents are in order (NO EXCEPTIONS). All documents with the exception of passports become the property of the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Name on tourist ID, divorce decree, birth certificates and passport MUST be the same on all documents.

Upon arrival, clients will receive a letter at the front desk with an appointment time & date to meet with your wedding coordinator. This appointment is mandatory and cannot be re-scheduled.

Wedding pass for non-Palace Resorts wedding guests to access Le Blanc Spa Resort

2009 -: $135.00 per person and includes dinner
2010 -: $140.00 per person and includes dinner
Le Blanc Spa Resort will allow the purchase of wedding passes equivalent to 20% of the total wedding party. The wedding pass will grant guests access to the property one hour prior to the ceremony including the reception.

Policies

A 50% deposit of the complete package is required 14 days after written contact is received. Final payment is due 30 days prior to ceremony. All additional optional services must be paid for at the resort.

A cancellation penalty of $500.00 will apply to all wedding packages if reservation is cancelled within 45 days of wedding date. Payments should be made payable to:
