There is a maximum of 2 Weddings per Hotel per day. The availability for Weddings also depends on the number of guests invited to the Wedding
Both Legal and Religious Ceremonies, last approximately 20-25 minutes
These packages are valid from January 1 – December 31, 2007.

Wedding documents needed by Riu Caribe hotel:

Original and certified copies of passports
Original and Apostilled copies of Birth Certificates (the one with your parent's information)
Original and copies of Tourist Cards, provided upon entry to Mexico (remember to write the exact same name in the Tourist Card that is it in your Passport)
Final Divorce Certificate, if applicable, translated into Spanish and Apostilled
Divorced people cannot marry in Mexico until one year after the termination of the divorce.
If widowed, husband or wife Certificate of Death, translated into Spanish and Apostilled
Blood test (HIV, RPR and RH) & Medical Certificate taken in Mexico (results must be no more than 15 days prior to the Wedding)
4 witnesses with copies of their passports and Tourist Visas or provided locally by the Hotel (older than 18 years old)
Please, Verify names in all documents are the same or bring certificate confirming change of name (for example: Deed Pool, Apostilled and translated)
If Bride or Groom is a minor, their parents must be present in the Ceremony and parents must present copies of their passports 3 days before the Wedding.
If the Wedding is between a Mexican and a foreign person, the foreign person must request personally a Permit of the Mexican Migration Office (in Cancun).
If the wedding is at any of the RIU Hotels & Resorts in Playa del Carmen or Cancun, bride and groom and witnesses ( if required ) need to be on destination at least 3 full business days prior the wedding for legal ceremonies and 2 full business days for religious one.
