Thank you very much for your interest in Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood
Resort, as the location for your wedding celebration. It is with great pleasure that we introduce our wedding services to you.
Situated at the edge of the sparkling Sea of Cortez, Las Ventanas al Paraiso specializes in small, intimate weddings with a maximum of 60 guests. We offer an ambiance of splendor and tranquility and the following information will assist in the planning of your special day.

Wedding Guidelines and Requirements 2009
   • For weddings between 41 and 60 guests, a minimum of 24 total room nights is required.
A food and beverage minimum of $12,000 USD is required for a private event.
   • For weddings between 26 and 40 guests, a minimum of 20 total room nights is required.
A food and beverage minimum of $10,000 USD is required for a private event.
   • For weddings between 13 and 25 guests, a minimum of 15 total room nights is required.
A food and beverage minimum of $7,000 USD is required for a private event.
   • For weddings between 8 and 12 guests, a minimum of 10 total room nights is required.
A food and beverage minimum of $5,000 USD is required for a private event.
   • For two-person weddings there is not a minimum room night or food and beverages requirement.
   • Please note that a minimum length of stay may apply. Minimum lengths of stay are subject to change based on availability, therefore we ask that you check with reservations for up to date minimum length of stay requirements.
   • A four night minimum is required over the following holidays:
2009: Good Friday/Easter (April 9-13, 2009)
Memorial Day Weekend (May 21-25, 2009)
Independence Day (July 2-6, 2009)
Labor Day Weekend (September 3-7, 2009)
Thanksgiving (November 26-30, 2009)

Documents
Civil Ceremony Performed by a Mexican Justice of the Peace (Ceremony is conducted in Spanish. Officiating Minister provides translating services)
Copies of Birth Certificates
Blood Tests need to take place in Mexico, Two Business Days Prior to the Wedding in Accordance with Mexican Law
Copies of Passports
Copies of Mexican Visas or Tourist Car Received
Upon Arrival to Mexico
Copies of Divorce Decrees, if Applicable
Four Witnesses (For Weddings for Two, Las Ventanas al Paraiso would be pleased to provide witnesses)

Note: The above documents are required for a legal wedding ceremony to take place in Mexico. The wedding is valid and recognized in all countries included in The Hague Agreement. Please note that the Mexican Justice of the Peace requires the aforementioned documents eight business days prior to the ceremony in order to do the paperwork.

Included in your suite rate, we are delighted to offer the bridal couple the following amenities, based on the size of your event and your guestroom requirements. Please note that these amenities apply only if the ceremony and reception are taking place at the resort.

Chilled champagne upon arrival

Chilled champagne and a hand-tooled leather photo album
(Between 5-14 total room nights must be utilized)

   • Justice of the Peace: $850.00 (Spanish Speaking)
   • Non-Denominational Minister: $450.00 (English Speaking/ Translator)
   • Musicians: $330.00 to $1,000.00
(Soloist, Trios, Quartets, DJs and 4 Piece Bands) (hourly fee)
   • Photographers: $450.00 per hour (two hour minimum)

Hors d'Ouevres: Starting at $30. 00 (A selection of 5 different Hors d'Ouevres) (per person)

Venue options
The Beach
Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort is situated on a white sand beach along the sparkling Sea of Cortez. From intimate ceremonies for two people, up to larger celebrations of 60, The Beach is a lovely, open air option. Use of this venue will range between $200.00 and $650.00

The Plaza
The Plaza at Las Ventanas offers stunning, panoramic views of the resort and Sea of Cortez. This venue can accommodate up to 60 guests, and use of The Plaza is $500.00

The Private Dining Room
With its lovely ocean views, the Private Dining Room at Las Ventanas can accommodate up to 60 guests. Floor to ceiling sliding glass doors open onto a large outdoor terrace, which is a perfect venue for a pre-dinner cocktail reception. This venue can accommodate up to 60 guests, and use of The Private Dining Room is $500.00

La Cava
Las Ventanas al Paraisos wine cellar, located just off of the restaurant, is a beautiful venue for smaller, intimate gatherings up to 14 guests. With over 3,000 bottles of wines imported from all over the world, La Cava offers a unique ambiance in a dramatic setting. Use of La Cava is available at $250.00

All rates are subject to 10% tax.
