If you are purchasing one of our wedding packages where service of the judge is included, the hotel has a fee of $ 300 USD (paid in cash upon arrival) (price subject to change for year 2006) to handle all paperwork including the following:
- Blood testing
- Translation of couple birth certificates
- Prenuptial course
- Health certificate
- Transfers from the hotel to the places the couple need to attend and back.
If you are not getting any of our wedding packages and want to get legally married in Puerto Vallarta, the hotel has a fee of $ 500 USD (price subject to change for year 2006) including the following:
- Services of the judge (at the hotel)
- Blood testing
- Translation of couple birth certificates
- Prenuptial course
- Health Certificate
- Transfers from the hotel to the places the couple need to attend and back.

TIME: Outdoors parties Music are allowed until midnight. Inside a ballroom without limit of time, it will only apply an extra charge of $ 20 USD per person per hour for the service at the event.
PLACE'S OPTION # 1: “World Café Terrace”. Description: Wide and beautiful terrace beside main swimming pool with ocean view. Perfect to celebrate receptions and cocktails. Capacity: From 30 to 300 persons. Note: Please take note this terrace is aside one of our main restaurants and receptions service shall start at 7.00 pm.
PLACE'S OPTION # 2: “Las Palmas Terrace”. Description: Beautiful terrace with ocean view and small pool aside, located in the middle of the property. Perfect for a private cocktail or dinner. Capacity: From 30 to 60 persons. Events shall start at 7:00 pm.
PLACE'S OPTION # 3: “Main Beach”. Description: Best beach in town, complete private. Capacity: From 60 to 350 persons. Please take note of contingency Plan for this special location.
PLACE'S OPTION # 4: “Dreams rooms”. Description: Room with Air Conditioning, located next to Dreams Club Tower. Capacity: 100-420 persons Reception (Served Dinner). 80-400 Persons Reception (Buffet Service)
PLACE'S OPTION # 5: “Wedding Gazebo” Description: Gorgeous area for getting married just in a top beach and near of a small terrace for cocktails afterwards ( Las Palmas), located in the middle of the property with an excellent view. Capacity: 5 to 6 persons (the couple, the judge or minister and two witnesses). 20 persons in terrace.
PLACE'S OPTION # 6: "Sea Side Grill Restaurant". Description: Beautiful and spectacular ocean view at top the beach level, terrace located in the south side of the property, it has a gorgeous bay and Mountain View. It is a perfect scenario for a wedding dinner or cocktail. Capacity: 100 persons cocktail setting. 60 guests Reception. (Served Dinner). 60 guests Reception. (Buffet Service). Note: Please take note it will be open for guest’s service from 07:00am to 11:00pm
PLACE'S OPTION # 7: “Oceana Restaurant and Beach”. Description: Private “Palapa”, bay and ocean front view, located in the north side of the property. Capacity: 90 guests Reception (Served Dinner). 80 guests Reception (Buffet Service). Note: Please take note it will be open for guest’s service from 06:30pm to 11:00pm
Contingency Plan (Main Beach): Due to weather conditions (sea and river) you should be advised of the following information: If rainy season last longer than its normal period (Mid May - October), or if we have high tide during the wedding days, river and beach can be affected by this and the beach would not be on its normal conditions to set the reception were planned. We still could use the beach but please take note of following solutions: 1) In order to make level of sand caused by river and tide, tractor rent is needed. Estimated Price: $ 450 USD per day .(Number of days depend of sand level). 2) Or take another beach area where “palapas” (beach tents) shall be removed. Estimated Price: $ 200 USD. Plus tax Per palapa. Clients need to pay for these costs.
Important note on restaurants: restaurant will be opened to guest service and we do not reserve areas. If you want a special area for your group please be at restaurant gate by the opening hour.
We require a minimum of 50% of the wedding guests staying at the hotel in order to host an event.

Stage for musicians and dance floor are not included in outdoors parties. If you choose the Beach you will require to rent a dance floor. Standar Dance Floor (4.88 x 6.10 mts) (this service may be confirmed before the wedding, since is an external supplier). Estimated 2006 Price: $ 850 USD
DINNER DECORATION: We have available candles, torches, jute carpets (just as decoration) Price: $ 200 USD for the whole event.
MENU: Private events are subject to an additional charge you would only have to choose from the all inclusive menus, the costs per person are as follows:
$ 20 USD (2006), $ 25 USD (2007) per person staying at the hotel. This price includes dinner, taxes .
$ 70 USD (2006), $ 80 USD (2007) per person not staying at the hotel. Includes dinner, taxes.
Note: This prices include, three course menu, open bar for 4 hours, service personnel, taxes, reception set up, linen, cutlery
Note: If you require to have cocktail with appetizers, it may apply an extra charges per per person.
Cocktail price: $ 10 USD (2006) $ 12 USD (2007) per person. This price includes appetizers bar, private open international bar for one hour, waiters, cocktail set up, tax and service.

Wedding documents needed by Dreams Puerto Vallarta hotel:

Certified copy of recent birth certificate (no more than one year), with Apostille Seal
Copy of passport “or” Driver’s license ( ID).
Valid Mexican entry documents as tourist card copy (FMT, FM3, FM2, Visa). (Given upon arrival to the country) Please note: Your names on the tourist cards MUST match your passport or driver's license.
If you are bringing witnesses with you, they will also need to provide copy of their passport or any ID. If you are traveling alone, witnesses will be provided for you.
Blood tests. Please note: Blood tests of Syphilis and Blood Type “must be done at Puerto Vallarta”, which must be completed within 15 days of the confirmed wedding date of your wedding.
Health Certificate. Please note: Health Certificate must be done at Puerto Vallarta three days before the wedding
Four witnesses with a copy of their photo identification.
Names and addresses of both parents.
Assist to a pre-nuptial course offered “only” on Wednesdays at 9am with a copy of their birth certificate and ID of both parties. Hotel & Client (please check your arrival date in order to match with the prenuptial course day). This course is mandatory.
It has to be verified that a minimum period of one full year has elapsed from date of one of the following:
- Divorce Certificate
- Death certificate of previous spouse.
Birth, divorce and death certificates must be apostilled, must be duly translated into Spanish and legally stamped in Puerto Vallarta. Please note: We require this documents in our office in order to send them to a registered translator.
Judges do not celebrate weddings on Sunday or holidays
All of the original documents the judge ask for are not given back to the couple, they stay at the civil registry, please bring another copy of your birth certificates if you don’t have a passport in order to go back to the US.
The hotel is not responsible for last minute changes or cancellations from the civil registry or judges.
Civil legal weddings are responsibility of the state government, the hotel does not have any participation on them and we are subject to their availability and changes.
