Bride and groom original birth certificates
(the ones that shows parents names): If Canadian, you need to go to the closest
Mexican Consulate to ask for the legalization of both birth certificates
according to governmental requirements, this means that they will stamp a seal
named “Apostille” on each birth certificate. If American or English/British, you
need to go to your Civil Register Office to ask them for the legalization of
both birth certificates to make them international according to governmental
agreement, this means that they will stamp a seal named “Apostille”.

license or recent proof of citizenship)

4 witnesses are required but parents can not
act as witnesses. (Staff members can act as witnesses). 3 copies of the passport

Notarized letter that proves that the future
bride and groom are single

Notarized certificate of divorced or widowed
with “Apostille seal” (same procedure mentioned above). Mexican law decrees that
a divorced person must wait one year to re-marry.

must be send to the Resort by DHL or FedEx courier 15 days before the wedding to
be legally translated and approved by Minister of Justice.
