General Information
At the Hotel Catalonia Yucatan Beach we specialise in weddings and honeymoons.

What could be more romantic than a wedding in a haven isolated from civilisation, followed by an ideal honeymoon full of activities such as snorkelling, sailing, sunbathing on the beach, topped by a vibrant nightlife in a luxury hotel?

Documents
   • Photocopies of the passports of the bride and groom (only passports accepted).
   • Tourist card received on arriving at Cancun International Airport.(Please write your exact name as it appears on your passport)
   • If the bride has been married before, it is important for her maiden name to appear in her passport. Otherwise, the surname of her ex-husband will be used and the original birth certificate will be requested.

IMPORTANT:
   • The original of the birth certificate must be accompanied by an "Apostille" (Special document bearing a stamp validating the birth certificate). This must be officially translated into Spanish and attached to another Apostille. Said documents must be true copies and will not be returned. Should either the bride or groom have been married previously, more than one year must have elapsed since the date on the divorce certificate. The medical examination will obligatorily be conducted by the doctor of the hotel in Mexico (the cost of the medical examination is $150 USD per person (subject to change) and must be paid in cash directly to the doctor).
   • A minimum of 4 witnesses are needed, with photocopies of their passports and tourist cards.
   • The bride and groom and the 4 witnesses must be at the hotel at least 5 days prior to the celebration of the wedding to prepare all the legal documents needed for the civil wedding.

Policies

1. The legalization of the act of marriage for the native country is not included and must be done in Mexico with an extra charge (only for legal ceremonies).
2. Medical exams have an extra cost, see page 4 (only for legal ceremonies).
