This is a spiritual ceremony, in touch with the nature and the four elements: water, earth, wind and fire. The Shaman invokes the presence of the Mayan Gods, to create a perfect environment of harmony and protection. In the place of the ceremony there is an altar with four elements represented for: flowers, fruits, vegetables, seeds, wine and fire. All these, symbolize the abundance, the union and the commitment that is established by the couple and the universe. It is suggested that the couple and the guests dress all white because it represents purity and integration with nature. The ceremony is held in a scene close to the sea…the wedding gazebo. Duration 25 minutes maximum

Important wedding information from Grand Sunset Princess hotel:

Bride and groom must arrive at the resort 4 bussiness days prior to the legal wedding ceremony date in order to complete the blood test and process the necessary documents. Saturday and sunday are not considered bussiness days.

All civil marriages that take place in mexico under mexican laws are completely legal in mexico. A foreign marriage must be legalizing in mexico to be valid in other country.

Blood test, hiv and std must be taken in mexico and it must include a health certificate required for the mexican laws. It is not included in the package’s price. The average price is $150.00 usd and includes the certificated.We will set an appointment with the lab to take the test, if you do not show up; there will be a charge of $150.00 usd to your room bill.

We offer you the services of a professional person to take care of all the paper work and procedures, who will contact you to set and arrange everything.

Judge’s transportation is not included; it must be paid in cash at the hotel before the ceremony. It is $50.00 usd in cash

Copies of valid passports or official identification of 4 witnesses
Health Certificate (Medical check up with blood test and HIV) It must be done in México and it should be valid for 15 days (Not included in the Package)
Filled and sign document of truth (Mexican document)
Marriage request document, it must be filled with right and complete information of the couple and witnesses, all the copies of passports. It should be delivered 3 days before the wedding date.
