Documents
In order to get married by an official of the Mexican Government, there are several requirements
1 Valid Passports ( Bride and Groom)
2 Original Birth Certificate(must have the Apostille Seal and translated into Spanish, Bride and Groom must bring the original documents in English and Spanish)*sent a copy to your wedding coordinator.
3 Tourist Cards (Given at the airplane)
4 Original blood test (To determine Blood type, H.I.V and S.T.D). Test must be taken at the resort and results are ready within 24 hrs. (Fee $160.00 per couple)

Have to be done in Mexico (The doctor advise not eat anything 8 hours before to have the blood test)
   • Health Certificate(have to be done here in Mexico) Include in the blood test work.
   • 4 Witnesses (2 for the Bride, 2 for the Groom) must arrive 4 days prior to ceremony.* They must provide 2 copies of their valid passports and their tourist cards (provided at your arrival to Cancun Airport)

5 Complete the enclosed application form.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS TO GET MARRIED IN MEXICO
1 Mandatory Presentation of Passport of Groom and Bride
2 If one of the Party has been divorced
Certified Divorce Certificate and legalized Spanish translation
3 If one of the Party Widow/widower
Certified widow/widower Certificate and legalized Spanish translation
Original documents are needed, otherwise the ceremony can not be held.
2 copies of each document must be hand in to the Mexican Registry Office.
In order to perform the wedding, it is important to have the original documents at least 4 working days prior to the wedding date. The Bride, Groom and Witnesses are required to be at the Resort a minimum of 4 working days prior to the wedding ceremony.
